This Show Rocks Because....

A mixture of gifted writing, talented directing and phenomenal acting make The Practice the best show on earth. David.E.Kelly gives us a sample of his brilliance every week in the form of this remarkable television show. Special credit goes to the actors, especially Kelli Williams (Lindsay) and Dylan McDermot (Bobby)who are definently the best matched couple on television.

The Talented and Yummy Dylan McDermot
  The Plot
The courtroom dramas occur everyday for the overworked lawyers on The Practice, dealing with murderers and rapists is an everyday thing for the defence attorneys of Donnel, Young, Dole and Frutt, and dealing with their guilt when they set them all free.

Having all this guilt had tremendous effects on their personal relationships and in Eugene Youngs case has caused divorce.

Then there are the guilty clients that aren't satisfied with an equital, like George Vogelman (psychotic, head- carrying, nun-suit wearing ex-client) who was looking to kill Ellenor one night, and stumble upon Lindsay instead, so he took a stab (literally) at her.

Such storylines and plots are the reason millions of people keep on coming back for more courtroom scenarios.

Forget The Rumuors, These Guys HAVE Morals!
While many of their brethren have less-than nice things to say about the lawyers at Donnell, Young, Dole and Frutt, we the audience are quite frequenly witnesses to emotional breakdowns, as well as the all-too-common gut checks they are all forced to take.

An example of this is when Eugene (Steve Harris) hears his sons understanding of his job...'My Dad gets criminals off.' Ellenor too has her moments when the client she so admirabily defended came back to the office and almost killed her co-worker (Lindsay) and Ellenor realised "I have a complete incapacity when it comes to reading people.

Moral is hard to keep in tact when working in a place that so often takes the side of the murderers and rapists...but when you get past the scum, there is a group of the most moral people on television.

Wanna read some 'The Practice' fan fiction...

This Weeks Best Quote
Was won by district attorney Helen Gamble in the episode in series #4 called "Marooned." Lindsay had just broken off the engagement to Bobby, and Helen is halfway through a converation, trying to get Bobby to talk her out of it.

HELEN: Do you want to spend the rest of your life alone?! As much as I love her [Lindsay] she's not the one I'm worried about. She'll find somebody else...probably better than you.
BOBBY (who looks kinda put off about her last statement)....thanks.

We Hold These Truths
The picture pretty much says it all.

Another well-deserved win
I think they should win every year.
